I did another mix for Green and Blue Wines in East Dulwich. (If you’re from North London it’s down near Brighton, on the South Coast)
Whenever I worked in bars, you’d always get to work and some bastard would be halfway through a difficult Radiohead EP - or worse, a scratched copy of Smoker’s Delight. Again.
This is an attempt to rectify that - or at least, make the first hour of opening up shop less jarring.
It starts quietly and moves into soul by the end.
I did a mix for Green and Blue Wines in East Dulwich. They sell really interesting wine - if like me you all too often end up in the ‘it’s £9.99 so it must be worth a punt’ section in Morrisons they’re well worth checking out.
Everything I’ve tried from there has had the ‘whoa what is this called I need to buy a lot of this’ effect, no mean feat considering I’m a beardy real ale bore.
Ask to see the sparkling wine section - you’ll never buy champagne again. *checks copious, detailed tasting notes* Ask for a bottle of the fizzy red one, it’s awesome.
Anyway, this mix is a bunch of summery stuff with some other bits thrown in. Get a glass of the fizzy red on the go while listening. Part II coming soon is more of a ‘night’ thing.
